inspecting the house,finding the FMV/ARV
I want to start off wholesaling, but still haven't done my first deal yet. I have two areas that I have questions about. The first has to do with inspecting the house to find out the needed repairs. I do not have a construction background and do not have any ideal how mush a certain job (say a kitchen gut) would cost. So how do I know how much to add in for repairs.
The seconded has to do with finding the FMV or the ARV on a house. I don't want to go through a realtor to use their MLS each time. So I was looking around the internet and found a web site called Realquest. I was wondering if anyone know anything about them. Would they be good to use for pulling comps. ?
