Is that information available in the free public house sales record held by the county or is it available on MLS?

public records will give you chain of title to see who owned the property and what dates all of the transactions took place. If you look on realtor sites the information is often inaccurate or not recorded. Your best bet would be working with a title company to get a chain of title. There is no way to determine if the property was wholesaled other than the clues of quick turnaround and increased sales price. Hope that helps.
