Does anyone send letters to cash buyers as introductions?

I've recently collected a local list of properties that were cash transactions. On this list, I'm provided with the name of the buyer and the address to the property that they've recently purchased. I was thinking of sending letters to each of the properties introducing myself as a wholesaler/investor and wanted to ask if they'd like to be added to my list of contacts for properties that I may come across in the future. Has anyone else ever done this? If so, what were the results? What did you include? Does anyone have examples? Is there an easier yet cheap way to skiptrace the individuals?
