So I’m starting out in real estate Investing And I have found the property that I want to be interested in.. but my question is.. 1) how do I contact the person.. through mail, by sending a letter? What do I do? If they ask how did I get their info what do I say? Please help me, btw do you guys think it would be good if I made a business card of my own and have that in?

@Simpy Cheema, What is the condition of the house you are speaking about (i.e. is it on the MLS, vacant, rented, owner occupied, etc.)? With that, I am going to assume that this property is not on the MLS. I recommend you conduct an online search of the property at your county tax assessor's website, or visit the office in person. They will have the address of the current owner, along with their names. Then I recommend you send them a yellow letter in the mail with your contact information.

If you are just starting out, and it appears that this is the case, I suggest you spend your money on real estate educational books (as opposed to buying cards). Also watch the biggerpocket's podcasts and continue to search the posts on this site. You will have a better idea of the direction you should head next. I hope this helps, and good luck!
