Do I need to create a company to Start Real Estate Investing?

Hello! My name is Daniel. I’m new to BiggerPockets and I’m enjoying a lot and learning as well. I’m from Canada and I will like to invest in US. How can open a bank account being a Canadian Permanent Resident and should I open a company to start doing wholesale or should I start onder my name. Thanks
