So I had this property for sale that is now pending with an end buyer. He has a non assignable contract (box checked says may not assign), but is looking for an end buyer. How do we know that? His assistant posted Craigslist ads, and gave up his name when a guy I know called on it. So that is that, and whatever.....

But whats even more interesting is I have found over a dozen other posts from people I dont know advertising this property for sale. I plan on calling them tomorrow and asking cool questions. The plan involves sinking them in as deep as possible before revealing we actually own the property they are trying to sell. Here is what i have so far:

Hi, I noticed the property for sale on Craigslist, is it still available?

Really, and how much work does it need?

Whats the lowest you could accept?

How would I get in to see the inside? (try for lockbox code here)

Do you need all cash or can you offer owner financing? *chuckles*

Thats all for now. Just sitting here brainstorming on what else to ask before I drop the hammer and let them know who we are.

Please feel free to add fun questions that you would ask in this situation.

Sounds like you might want to spend some time looking for a buyer who can actually perform.
