Bandit signs phone number

Does anyone have any experience with using a google voice number on Bandit Signs. Do you answer the phone when you get a call? Should I be worried a city or county code enforcement office is calling? Hope that made sense?

If I am not answering my phone when it rings, is that ok? And hope they leave a msg?
