Is using a Buyer's Pool to assign illegal?
I know it helps to have a buyer's pool, but my understanding from a pro I know is that if you are assigning (wholesaling) it is considered illegal. I am told that, "A buyer today may not be a buyer tomorrow", therefore making a buyer's pool somewhat unreliable. The only way to use a buyer's pool is if you are using the double escrow technique. Does anybody have any insight on this? I keep hearing lots of folks on here wanting to build a buyer's pool in order to assign, but using a buyer's pool to assign is illegal in all 50 states. Is this right?
