Wholesaling with realtors

Isaac Josey
Posted
How does wholesaling with a realtor work?. Is it the same as a motived seller or a bit different?. I see a lot of properties for sell with realtors and wonder if I’m passing up potential deals. Can anybody answer these questions???

@Isaac Josey You're more likely to land a wholesale lease option from MLS listed homes. A good tactic is to monitor properties in your target area and watch for houses that are listed 2-3 months without any price reductions. This usually indicates one of two things:

1. They're stubbornly overpriced.
2. They don't have enough equity for a reduction.

Contacting them by door knock, phone, or mail and asking if they would sell for what they owe if you cover the commission and closing costs will elicit either a "Get lost bozo!" from the first group or a "Where do I sign?" from the second group.
