Good Evening,

Quick question, should I have an LLC before I start getting properties under contract? I am new and wondering if that's the smart thing to do?

Hey @Theodore Bullock short answer is no. Get your business up and running first. Get some deals under your belt. New entrepreneurs want to work on everything but the one thing they should be spending 80% of their time on, which is MARKETING!!! Don't let this be you. Market for motivated sellers then market for motivated sellers then market some more for motivated sellers. The other 20% of your time should be spent on learning about the 5 skills needed to be a Pro Wholesaler. They are Marketing, Estimating repair cost; Contracting; Appraisals; and Negotiations. After your franchise is created and making you a **** load of money then think about a LLC. Hope this helps.
