W-9 on assignment fee?
I have done enough deals on assignment fees. I have been included on all hud-1 statements. But this deal I’m closing today on a title company I’ve never used did not have me on hud1 and the investor who works with the title company is asking me to sign a w9. Should I sign and if I dont does that affect me getting my check?
