Recommendation on Investor Friendly Title Companies in NJ

Derick Robinson
Posted
Im new to the wholesaling business and after calling a few title companies Im getting the impression that Assignment and/or double closings are somewhat “frowned upon” from the perspective of the title companies. I also get the impression they’re not very knowledgable on wholesaling so Im not discouraged. Im just afraid of getting the signed contract and not being able to find a company to run the title and close the deal. Can anyone make a suggestion on what title company to use that is familiar with wholesaling? Im in the Cumberland County area so ideally Id like to stay close to there but Im open to Gloucester or Cape May County as well.

You don't really need a title company to be familiar with the assignment/wholesaling. An attorney can handle the settlement of the transaction and all you need the title company to do is run the title on the property for you as if you were the end buyer and then issue an endorsement to the policy for the final owner.
