Expired Listing Wholesaling

I met a realtor that is willing to send me expired listings every month for zip codes that I am interested in wholesaling in. From what I understand the best way to contact the sellers is through the realtor that is sending me the list since he can see their contact info correct? Would the realtor also be making offers on my behalf?
