Making Offers You Can Live With!

I need some help from the "wise and learned" here on BP regarding making offers on properties that feel to me are really, really low compared to the value of the property I am trying to buy.

I know the saying "you make money on the buy" and I believe that. How do you feel comfortable with a very low offer knowing that it's leaves an enormous profit for me and my buyer. I also have the feeling you are insulting the sellers with "low ball" offers hoping for a counter offer so can get to the real price.

Do I just need to get past these feelings or what?
