Working with couple of different agents

Hello all,

I am new to wholesaling and I was wondering what you all thought of this idea. I have been working with this agent who has been helping me find rental properties in my area. I am also considering wholesaling some properties, so I was thinking of doing something like a 50-50 deal with my agent where I bring money to the table and he brings me his knowledge and experience (he's also an investor), and we split the profit once we sell the property.

1) Do you guys think it is a good way to approach? My reasoning is I am new to wholesaling and I don't have a formal 'mentor', so I figured if I can leverage off an experienced realtor who is also an investor, it might be a good idea.
2) Now can I work a similar deal with other realtors in the area, or I should stick with one?
3) I am also in contact with a wholesaler in my area, and I was thinking of also trying to do a similar deal with him.

What do you guys think of this approach? Thanks in advance for your responses.
