Got This Email From An Unlicensed Broker
If you put properties under contract and then market them, you are brokering WITHOUT a license which is a 3rd degree felony"
1) where assigning contracts! Perfectly legal. No client obligation.
2) name ONE PERSON who has been convicted of a 3rd degree felony. There isn't one.
3) We're making HUGE $ in FL wholesaling. Come join us!
So-we have someone violating FL statutes and has not been caught. This doesn't make them right.
In fact, they ARE wrong unless they have ownership.
FL expressly prohibits advertising properties you do NOT own unless you are licensed.
475.43 spells it out.
I responded back asking them WHERE they are advertising. We will see if they will share that info:)
I can name a dozen people that have received cease and desist orders. We have a local case where someone MAY get charged with a felony. This is their second offense.
They have been busted once and are now facing an investigation which I believe will be their downfall.
Where are all the unlicensed brokers advertising on BP? The few that are make sure and leave no contact info LOL!
