The Marketing Aspect!

Hey everyone,

I just watched/listened to the BP Podcast #91 with guest Ben Grise, and its about Ben's wholesaling career. Marketing with direct mail to absentee owners was briefly discussed as a marketing strategy and even Ben's number one tip to marketing when wholesaling. My question is how does one know who an absentee owner is? Where does one find that information at?

Btw, I'm a newbie and have just started researching real estate investing and came across the great world of wholesaling just yesterday. Anyone with some insight into this would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you
