wholesaling for beginners

HELLO everyone. Very happy to be here.

I'm here to find out the more detailed side of "wholesaling", I have educated my self with the steps of how it all runs.. However here comes the questions -

1) how to physically find sellers and buyers.. is there a website or software for such things. ( free or charge, either)

2) do I need any type of licences to start, I assume sellers and buyers may not know whether I am legit or just wanting to know details about someone's home?

3) what is earnest money and when I find a seller, put the home under contract do they not expect a deposit?

4) what are the evaluations and comps?

All advice welcome thank you
