Equity Partner in marketing campaign- Profit split?

I may be entering in a partnership where the  partner can provide several more thousands than I am able to put into marketing, however I may be working the leads and transactions more than he will be.

Has anyone had such experience or any input on how to handle unequal partnerships?

What about raised investing money (equity partners)?
