Home Inspector and Wholesale

Ive been trying to search this question and cant seem to find the right answer...so I will try here and see what I get.

My question is can you do/be both at the same time? Be a certified home inspector but still do real estate wholesale...are you able to offer your services or not? Is it a conflict of interest? I understand that most states doesnt require a certification and some states do. I could be wrong but I believe as a Real Estate Agent and Home Inspection that is conflict of interest.
