Wholesale tips to a young, beginning investor.

good evening, this is my first time on bigger pockets or investing and I decided that I wanted to start wholesaling a couple months ago. It was mostly due to the fact that it was one of the most cost and time effective real estate endeavors for me due to me being a college student and having limited funds. I studied a lot about wholesaling and the process of how a double closing is performed, but one  thing I wasn't too sure about was what techniques investors use to market to potential properties. I like the idea of using stick notes and bandit signs, what techniques do you all use?
