How to Contact HomeOwners Post-Foreclosure?

Chris B
Posted

All,

How would you contact homeowners who have moved out of their foreclosed home AFTER it has been sold?

I have realtors/others doing work for me on their own - and I like to keep tabs (Metrics, Metrics, Metrics!) I want to make sure that they're treating everybody respectfully - and I want to know what the HomeOwner thought about the service.

I'd like to contact the homeowner directly via mail (no phone) 60-90 days after we bought their home to see what they thought via a short survey- but for many we don't have "moved to" addresses.

Would it work to simply mail to their "Foreclosed address" (the home I own) and have USPS forward the mail to them as long as I do it in the first few months before USPS stops?

Or do foreclosed owners "Cut and Run" and generally not forward ANY Mail?

Thanks in advance

Chris
