Assignment Of Contract In MA

I have in my hands two different versions of an assignment contract.  One version is 2 pages long and easy to understand, the other is 6 pages long and has a lot more confusing verbiage but seems like it could protect me more?  Does anyone have input on which version should be used, or willing to share a form they are currently using in the state of MA?
