Questions to ask an investor-buyer (Flip or Rent?)
I have accumulated a list of questions to ask a potential investor- buyer after I put a property under contract. One question that is suggested, is to ask the investor buyer what their exit strategy is (flip or rent?).
My question is, why should I care? What does it matter to me? In other words, if they tell me their intention is to rent...how would that affect me potentially qualifying them as a funding source?

You should not care.
You should put a tight schedule on them putting the financing commitment in place, and have a non-refundable deposit if they stretch that out too long, but you should not care what they are doing with it.
Now that I think about it, I can not think of a single question I would ask a BUYER, with the exception of: prove you can buy it, and when do we close.
Their business does not matter to me.
