Michigan Wholesale Agreement Rights

Hello,

So about 2 months ago I had a property under a purchase agreement, with the intent to assign it to an investor that I had sought out myself. The property is in Michigan. I never assigned the property because the seller could not agree on financing terms, so eventually the contract was void and I was out of the deal. The property was under my name the entire time.

I just got an email from the seller’s realtor saying that they seller had decided to accept the offer that I made, but she went directly to my investor instead of me...now she is saying I can’t be paid because I am not a licensed realtor.

Suggestions?? Do I have any rights here?

Cheers
