Seller attorney blew up the deal!

So my first wholesale deal blew up due to sellers attorney. They accepted my offer and had cash buyer as well. We told them they had to remove their buried oil tank to go forward and we would reimburse them at closing if there were no contamination. They decided to consult with their attorney who in turn rejected my cash offer of $85k. Attorney wants $132k with $6500 EMD. Obviously I'm not doing this. I'm considering calling them to get them to reconsider but the attorney wants all communication through them. Should I call the seller? Or just walk away? Thanks for everyone's thoughts.
