Posting a Wholesale Deal on Zillow

What are you thoughts on listing a wholesale deal on Zillow to get more attention?

My concern is the homeowner see it listed and question my intentions, but at the same time the homeowner doesn't even have an email so I doubt she is looking on Zillow ....

Hi @Doug Vigliano,

You may want to check your local laws to see what the requirements are for marketing property is. You could end up in hot water if the board is looking at Zillow. Another point is that unless you do it as a FSBO (and even if you do) everyone on the side that pops up is going to be an agent. So any person who does see it is going to be directed to a Zillow premier agent to help them buy it. If that is the case you are going to have (Not cash buyers) showing up expecting to take out a FHA or VA or USDA loan etc. This involves lawyers and banks and their lawyers all of whom will be asking questions.

In general Wholesalers have lists of cash buyers. These people buy with cash and quick if you are trying to market it to the general public you may be better served to become an agent.

Good luck in whatever you decide.
