Where can a newbie wholesaler Immediately start making OFFERS?

Hi everyone, For a new wholesaler who just wants to dive in the game and start making some offers aside from Craigslist, where can A new wholesaler start making some legitimate offers on properties. I've launched direct mail campaigns, and door hangers around the same area that I'm farming but I want to start making some offers I've thought about knocking on pre foreclosure doors. My strategy for this would be choosing one pre foreclosure property, looking at comps using Zillow as advices by Sean Terry, and going in there and hoping to spark a conversation. Of course it would take some bit of work for each property. Would someone recommend a better method. I want to start making some offers to increase my chances of getting a property under contract. Thanks in advance everyone!
