Contract question
If you don't want to tie up someones propety, and an option agreement is not an option.
Can you have the seller sign a purchase agreement, and write in the agreement that the contract begins on date of latest signature or something to that effect?
This is assuming the seller is cool with this, because alot of sellers dont want to mess with options, and others who have good props at good prices want at least some depo.
But i have discussed this with a seller or two as an option, and they are ok with it
