Bandit signs in Pinellas County, Florida

Are you having good experiences with bandit signs in Pinellas County?  I have always been against bandit signs BUT I'm not getting a whole lot of traction with the other marketing ideas I've tried.  Letters and post cards aren't in the budget at the moment so I'm starting to consider maybe placing 50 or so to test the water.  I don't see very many other people using them so I have a feeling it may not be such a good idea.  I thought that responses from you seasoned investors may talk me down off the ledge.

Thanks,

Sam
