Beginner Wholesaling in Illinois

Hey everyone! I am a young and inspiring entrepreneur. I have been wanting to enter the REI field for a very long time. I just decided to stop college and focus on this. After reading a forum where I learned most investors do not see wholesalers as competent I am motivated. I know there is more I need to understand but I have been reading and researching trying to learn everything I can on my own. I am very diligent and like to be well informed before I leap into things. I have a great strategy for finding properties but I do not have buyers(have ideas) but I do not feel confident enough at this stage to approach sellers, and I am not educated enough with calculations(ARV, repairs, exits cost) to report to investors. My question is, is there anyone(rehabber, inspectors, investors) open to provide the basics on how to inspect a house, if possible with estimates? Also, what numbers should I be calculating (ARV, repairs) ? What skills/education does it take to be a true wholesaler? Any advice will due thanks!
