My first potential lead SLIPPED

First potential lead from Craigslist slipped through my hands. Seller posted an ad on Craigslist to sell his property. Only asking 16k because he needed to get rid of the property in a hurry. I contacted the seller immediately after viewing other comps in the area. I set up an appt to view the property the next day. I called the seller the following day and he had told that someone else has came out already, and offered him what he was asking for plus a thousand dollar deposit. He explained to me that he would love to work with me, if I could move fast enough for him. Because of my lack of experience, and resources, I couldn't meet his demands in a timely fashion. The other wholesaler had contacted the property and was in the process of waiting for the title to clear for his buyer close. I was motivated when I found the deal, and only knew it was a matter of days, not hours. Smh. I gotta be more careful and learn this process FAST!!!
