Closing on a Wholesale Deal

I was told that when I am closing with an end buyer, they are suppose to write out the check to the title/escrow company...But my thing is how would the company know exactly that its for me?

Suppose me and the end buyer dont meet up together at the table with the title/escrow person? Then how would they identify
