keeping wholesale fee private?

so after reading the wholesaling chapter "the book on investing in real estate with no and low money down" i like the assignment route, mostly because of the simplicity.

it did mention that it would be a good idea to keep the wholesale fee private to keep the rapport with the seller and i like that idea, my question is how do you do this?

i live in Texas, so if there are any wholesalers in Texas who have gone through the process and could recommend the most common wholesaling route and how they usually go about it that would be great too!

thank you
