Wholesaling Issue, Illegal?

Hey guys,

The other day I posted a few ads on craigslist looking for motivated sellers. Wrote the usual, "Will Buy Houses for Cash" type of ad. Did not put a link to a website but wrote that I will buy houses for cash, quickly.  I posted about 4 of these ads in the areas surrounding me. Last night, I received an email saying "Will Send this post and all your other posts and website information the Federal and State consumer agencies for investigation..." I am not quite sure what I did wrong. Is this not allowed on craigslist? Or is this some type of spam email?
