Beginner - Wholesale Questions

I have been studying Wholesale/Reverse Wholesale investing for sometime, but most of the overviews are very high level, and not as detailed as I need. I tried one wholesale deal in the past and the deal fell apart leaving me to pay the EMD. I learned a lot there but done want that to happen again. Curious to hear the thought of many on below and more:

1. What resources do you use to find motivated sellers?

2. What resources do you use to find motivated buyers?

3. How do you market to those buyers/sellers strategically?

4. What funding do you use for transactional funding? assignments or back-to-back closings?

Thanks for any help you can provide and I hope its helpful to those with similar questions.
