Marketing to Probates

Hi. I am a wholesaler working on my first probate marketing campaign. I have a series of letters that I plan to send to the executor of estates. Based on your experience with marketing campaigns, would you suggest to mention something about the loss of a loved on in the letter or just say "I see you are the personal representative of an estate." I really need help from wholesalers with good success rates in direct letter marketing. Thanks!

Hi Nita,

I am a probate realtor her in Los Angeles and I send out mailers, trying to earn their business. When I send out my mailers to the personal representative (administrator or executor) of the estate, I do mention the decedent. I say something like this: I'm so sorry for your loss. I know this is a difficult time for you. And just keep it at that, acknowledge that you know that a loved one has died, but don't elaborate on it. I think that makes it a little more personal without sounding like you're there, just to make some money. It has worked for me. I hope that helps. Brian
