How do I build a buyer's list

Hi everyone!

I'm new Wholesaler in Lake Charles, Louisiana and I'm running into one major problem. I don't know any buyers! Are there any real estate investor meetings or networking events in this area that anyone would recommend? Any additional tips on building a buyer's list would also be appreciated.
