Help With Wholesale Contract

I'm trying to get up in running in my real estate investing business, I've been reading post on here that you should have your contract reviewed by an attorney and I also read another post where the investor stated that he has never had an attorney to review his contracts. I wanted to be safe and recently had my one page sales contract reviewed by Legalshield but they suggested that I use the standard real estate sales contract in Maryland. In my opinion its way to many pages to be used for a wholesale transaction. I'm also confused because I've also checked out post where other investors are investing in other states so if the contract has to be State specific how are they getting around this?
