Asking To Buy People's Homes

Hey all,

This is my first forum post on BiggerPockets. First, I'd like to say this is an amazing community of very well informed people. Its really refreshing to find some success-driven people!

I am writing today because I have found what I think to be some great opportunities for wholesale deals where I live (Chilliwack, British Columbia Canada) but I am unsure of how to acquire them.

They are not listed, I am basically intending to do a "cold" approach and either knock on their door myself, use a persuasive realtor to phone them or maybe even a flier advertising cash for homes? As you can see my brain is running in 1000 different directions.

So, anyone please! If you have any experience with cold offers, or even acquiring deals from people who may be resistant to sell, I look to your guidance/advice with open arms (and ears)!

Thank you, and best of fortune to you with you real estate success!

Sincerely, Gauge Levesque.
