How to buid a buyers list

Hi my friends. 

so as far as my understanding (noting that i do not have any cash or resources yet)

that the first step is to build a buyers list .... you agree? ok

Now HOW ?

Who?

Where?

What should I say when I speak to the people that you suggest? scripts maybe?

please provide me with steps (ex step 1 , 2 , 3). sadly i have read too much books and heard so many things I do not know where to start. 

I appreciate your answers my friends . And I hope this question benefits others as well .

I'm not in the wholesale business but I know there are plenty of people looking for a good deal. If you market for sellers the buyers will find you. "I BUY HOUSES" bandit signs are good for sellers and buyers. Buyers know those signs are typically wholesalers. So the buyers will call to get on your list. Just my 2 cents.
