What Are The Makings of A Good Wholesaler?

Hi, I have never used a wholesaler before, but am of a mind to in Las Vegas. I don't want to end up with any Tom, Dick, or Mary who doesn't know the wholesaling in's and outs, but I have little understanding of the skill set they need to be good. 

Would love your thoughts on this!
