Long Term Wholesale JV
Greetings BP Fam,
I would like to know how have fellow wholesalers dealt with joint ventures long term. I am in the process of closing a jv deal. I brought the seller to the deal and another wholesaler found the buyer. Is it good wholesale etiquette to include the other wholesaler in on any future dealings with 'his' buyer? What are 'industry' terms/norms for such a relationship? Our current contract is for one property. We will split the assignment fee 60/40. I think 40% is too much to pay for all future sales. I have built an agreeable relationship with the buyer. Would love to hear what you guys think!

Thanks for contributing thoughts and ideas. Building a buyer's list has proven to be the most difficult part of the wholesaling process for me. I think it is more indicative of the deal and I think that is what Chaz is getting at.
