Vacant/Condemned home that is owned by the city???
So during my Drive for Dollars yesterday I found a property that basically looks like it was forgotten about. The windows are all boarded it up, it's completely empty and this thing is ugly. Anyways after doing some research it looks like it is owned by the city... how exactly would I go about doing a deal to wholesale this? Is wholesaling this property even possible? Has anyone from the BP nation run into this? Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Most residential property in my state (TN) that is owned by the city / county is a result of a tax sale where no one bid on the property, thereby the municipality took title to the house. Each county has either a land bank, or delinquent tax property committee that overseas that property and it is just a matter of finding their number and getting in touch with them.
If it is a delinquent tax situation hopefully they will sell it to you for the delinquent tax amount. That would be nice!
