Actual process and options

Hu ello BP,

I have yet to get my first deal but still working on it. I have seen in various posts that one should have a team of different players.  What I want to know about this is who do you actually NEED (can't do any transaction without one) on a team? Am I able to present the contract and Option to Assign docs to the seller? Can I call the title company myself to run the legalities and close?  Can I take the check from the buyer and put it in my account ( jk). But does a realtor have to be involved or is it just a strong suggestion?

Also I would like to know if double closings are highly recommended? My logic tells me that also means double closing costs. ...

Thanks for any input,

EE
