Making an offer to 'For Sale by Owner' homeowners

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone out there goes about making offers to homeowners who are putting their house for sale as 'For Sale by Owner.' And by offer, I mean an offers where there is enough wiggle room to renovate/flip/possibly wholesale. Is this a good lead source for wholesalers or fix-and-flippers? Thanks!
