Reality check

For those that have had some success with wholesaling, how long was it from the time you started actively hunting for deals until you closed your first one?  For those that haven't closed a deal, yet, how long have you been working it?  Thanks

Paul,

I've been WS for quite a while.  I closed my 1st deal when I found a Buyer first..then just filled an order.  I got the Buyer's Investment Profile, looked for properties that satisfied it, locked up a few properties, presented them, then he picked what he wanted (I believe it was actually 3 properties he picked), then delivered those three to the Buyer.

From the time I got the Buyer Profile, to the time I got paid, was probably no more than 2 weeks.  Now, I have a lot of Buyers on my list.  When I find a property they may like, I just do again what I did the first successful time.

Find your Buyer(s) first...then just fill orders.  Reverse Engineer your system and you will be more efficient with your time...and be very successful.
