I agree with John and most of these tips are probably listed in the material he is suggesting you read/listen to.

Attend auctions, google we buy houses Phoenix and contact those investors, attend investment/landlord associations, search local public records for companies that sound like RE investment companies and then contact them, call the numbers on bandit signs that you see, call property managers and ask if they or any of their clients are currently purchasing.

There are many ways to start networking with investors.
