JV Wholesale deals

Hey yall, I hope everyone is having a vibrant and prosperous day! Today I made the decision to JV one of my deals in Newnan, GA. I have JV'ed in the past but it's not something I often do... we've all heard the stories about deals being stolen. I typically will JV with a wholesaler that I personally know but I have also done JV deals through IG. I've been wondering how often other people JV and whether I should be more open to it. What are your thoughts on JV wholesale deals? What method of execution works best for you (FB Marketplace, IG, Craigslist Ads, etc.)?

I would use a method that you could get to know the person you were interested in doing the JV with regardless of what your initial method of contact was. I like Facebook and Instagram. I like going to real estate events to get to know people so you can get a feel of how they really are. Check them out in multiple sources, have the right paperwork plus both of you need to have your separate LLC's before the JV is done. Looks like I need a disclaimer here. I am not a CPA, lawyer or any hold other legalese type of license.
I have done one wholesale buy but we each had our own LLC's and a JV agreement.
