Yellow Letter Campaign
It’s been awhile since I’ve done yellow letters. Looking to connect with some people who have experience in the arena. This isn’t for wholesaling, but I know typically wholesalers have a lot of experience in this area.
Perhaps someone who’s tried a variety of methods; gone through some trial and error phases and can help me avoid mistakes.
My scenario: Looking to send yellow letters to an highly specific niche. High end homes. I’m talking between 500-800 single-family homes.
Letters will be hand written. Envelopes will be hand written. I will begin by sending letters first. My goal is to connect with seller on a personal level. How I will go about it is probably not for this post. Letter will be short and sweet. To the point.
My questions are as follows:
1. Gel pen or ball point pen for the letter or either ?
2. White or colored envelope?
3. Website in the letter [small font; bottom corner] or just a phone number?
4. Will rubber stamping of a holiday themed article like a Turkey or Christmas Tree on front of the envelope be more enticing to open?
5. Give them the option to call or text, or call to action should be a call only?
I’m looking for advice from the experts in this arena. What does and does-not work. It’s a small target market I’m hitting. Goal is to connect with the seller and purchase the home.
